Peterhof Grand Palace and Gardens: The palace which is not very big (contains about 30rooms) is open to foreign tourists all over the world between 12pm to 2pm and 4pm to 6pm everyday except on Saturdays. The palace was enlarged by Rastrelli for Empress Elizabeth, and was redecorated by Catherine the great. The paintings, chandeliers, and furniture in the palace are all original. The palace has a hall called “the Chesme hall” which is full of large paintings of the destruction vof the Turkish fleet at Cesme in 1770 by the Russian. The East and West Chinese Cabinet, the picture hall and Peter’s study, are some of the attractions in this palace. It also has a throne room(biggest in the palace).

Peterhof Grand Palace and Gardens
The palace was majorly destroyed by the Soviet when Stalin, in his bid to thwart Hiltter’s intentions of throwing a party at the palace, bombed the place himself. Although the palace had since then been reconstructed, but it does not still erase the fact that the original main palace was totally burnt down. Yusupov Palace: Located at Nab Reki Moyki 94 in St. Petersburg Russia, this palace has the best 19th century interiors in the whole city. Although the palace was built by Vallin de LA Mother in the 1770s, the palace was last owned by Prince Felix Yusupov, who was once the richest man in Russia. Grigory Rasputin was murdered right there in the palace in 1916.
