Mount Elbrus
One of the top hikes to go on is Mount Elbrus. National Park
Yugyd-va National Park in the Ural Mountains offers many hiking trails. The area is about 2000 square kilometers and is a great place for people who are experienced at hiking. You can hike from 10 days to two weeks in this area. The surroundings are absolutely spectacular, and it is a great adventure for those who are up to it.
Lake Baikal
Lake Baikal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest and deepest freshwater lake in the world at 1700m deep. This is a very tranquil and peaceful area to hike in and definitely should be on your list of places to go for a hiking in. This is a popular tourist spot in Russia and it does have many trails that you can hike on. Hikes vary from easy to very difficult and from short to long so you are sure to find a hike that suits your ability and desire.
Klyuchevskaya Sopka
This spot is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the Kamchatka volcanoes in the eastern region of Russia. This active volcano is an awe-inspiring sight to behold and has numerous trails that people can go on. The environment in the region is also mainly unspoiled and quite pristine so if you are a nature lover and an avid hiker, then this would be a good place to visit.

Cronian Spit
Another rather unique place to hike is the Curonian Spit. This region is a sand dune spit and is a region where you can find interesting plants and animals. It certainly would be a great place to hike if you are a nature lover and if you like walking on beaches.
