Amazing Bakeries to Try in Russia

There are some truly terrific bakeries to try while visiting Russia. These bakeries offer great tasting pastries and coffee or tea. Some of the bakeries even offer other meal options.  It is always nice to stop in to a bakery to grab a cup of coffee or tea and a nice delicious sweet snack. In fact, this is a great way to start off a trip especially if you are tired from a long flight.

Moscow Bakeries

There are several bakeries in Moscow that offer delicious food. For instance, Little Bakery Zhuravlev has yummy choc croissants, tasty Kafe Latte, breads and cakes. Le Pain Quotidien is another terrific bakery that is found in Moscow. This bakery has great coffee, tea and an assortment of pastries and snacks to choose from. They do offer breakfast and lunch meals that go beyond pastries, and they also have a vegan menu for people who are vegans. They also have great cakes and other desserts to choose from. Le Pain Quotidien seems to offer more options than the usual small bakery that you would encounter and is therefore quite popular.

Bakery Francois is a bakery that is in the Presnensky neighborhood. This bakery offers many scrumptious and delicious Presnensky pastries including croissants, desserts and freshly baked bread. You can grab a coffee or cappuccino as well. You can either choose to sit and eat breakfast at Bakery Francois, or you can elect to get take out. Cinnabon is another bakery in Moscow that offers fresh baked pastries including delicious buns that are very popular. They have for instance caramel cinnamon buns that are very yummy. Cinnabon is the place for buns in Moscow.

St. Petersburg Bakeries

There are also some great bakeries that are in St. Petersburg, Russia. For example, Stolle Café is a combined café and bakery, which offers all types of pies including traditional Russian pies. This would be a good place to stop in and grab a delicious snack while you are in St. Petersburg.

Sever is another wonderful bakery in St. Petersburg that offers a variety of delectable and tasty pastries. You can find pies, rolls, ice cream, cakes, and muffins. They have many types of cakes to choose from, including a scrumptious cheesecake.

Bakery Volkonskiy is a big chain of pastry stores that bakes all types of fresh bread and other pastries. They often also make food for the more health conscious customers, for instance, they use fresh ingredients such as whole wheat bread. They do however also make an assortment of candies and sweets, jams and chocolates.

Bushe Bakery is famous for its cakes and croissants. This bakery also has various drink options to go with your pastry choice. For instance, they have an assortment of milkshakes, teas and coffees that you can order. Bushe bakery is very popular in the Saint Petersburg area and they are especially known for their great-tasting croissants. Café Singer is a café and bakery that offers an assortment of pastries and cakes. They do also offer a large breakfast menu if you are looking for something more than a quick snack.
